Santa Claus

We went to mom and dad's ward Christmas party the other day and Maddie and Sammy got to see Santa. I was pretty sure they would both cry but they did pretty well. I think it was because Maddie saw all the other little kids coming away with a little bag of candy and wanted some too. Sammy only cooperated because her sister was right there.

Oh Christmas Tree!

Every year we go up and pick out a tree to cut down and bring home. This year we went up toone of dad's properties to cut it down. Here it is all decorated for the season.

It's GIRL #3

We had an ultrasound two days ago and found out we are having our third girl. I think Jeff was a tiny bit disappointed as was I that it wasn't a boy but we are excited and have been thinking of names already. We have a really tough time with girls names which is kind of a bit of a problem since that is all we have.

I HATE Needles!!

So unfortunately I spent the last two days in the hospital due to so infection in my gastro intestinal area that the doctors couldn't figure out what it was but I had to stay in bed and be hooked up to numerous monitors because my blood pressure was really low my heart rate was really high and I had an incredible temp. We did find out that baby #3 is fine though. They had to do a whole bunch of tests on me and eventually just figured that they couldn't figure out what was wrong so when things turned back to normal they gave me some prescriptions to treat the symptoms and sent me home so I am still having the whole load of problems that sent me to the ER and got me a ride in an ambulance but at least now I have a story and two arms that look like they belong to a Dalmatian instead of me. Maybe Ill post a picture. I lost count after thirteen on the times they had to poke me to draw blood. Oh well by the time I have this baby I'll be ready for the epidural. I'm really excited to be back home with my babies whom I missed a ton!! I am not really up to taking care of them much but at least I am with them. I also have a really great friend who took care of them while I was gone and then helped arrange people making our dinner for the next couple of days so I am okay with being home. I will finally sleep in my own bed and no one will be coming in to be dracula anymore! I am so grateful for my health (my normal health) while I was in the hospital I saw a lot of people who were a lot worse off than myself and who were always going to be that way so I am so grateful to be healthy!

Christmas Lights

This last weekend we were planning on going to the parade of lights in downtown with some good friends of ours but we ended up running late and didn't make it so instead we went to downtown Littleton and we ended up having a great time! It was so pretty. Madison loves horses and Christmas lights and got to see both. We also sat on Santa's lap and had hot chocolate. We LOVE the Christmas season!!!!

One Baby

We did another ultrasound and we just saw one little bugger. The midwife said that unless the other one was hiding really well behind his sibling it was just one so we are banking on the one thing. Its kind of a relief. Life sure does throw you some surprises in life.

Twins???

Oh gosh, this has been a little bit of a stressful week so far. I went into the midwife yesterday for a regular check-up. The last time I went in Ann (the midwife) couldn't find the baby's heartbeat but wasn't worried about it and this week when she couldn't find it yet again she figured she should do an ultra sound but of course its a really old machine. After putting the goop on my tummy she says, "It's twins, just kidding" then a few seconds later she says "Oh my @#^*, It is twins". She saw two heartbeats for a bit and then couldn't find the second heartbeat. She isn't positive but there is a possibility that I am expecting twins. They also were thinking that I was fourteen weeks along and I am really only ten. This pregnancy I am sick when I never have been before, I am always really tired, I am already showing, I think these could be signs that it is twins, we'll see I guess. I find out for sure next week but it has been driving me crazy not knowing. I wasn't going to tell anyone until we found out for sure but now I cant stop thinking about it and the implications it will have on me and our family. Jeff and I will be married for just barely three years and have four kids and they will all be 2 1/2 and under. Life will really change if it's twins, having another baby will be change enough but two?

ZOO!

Last week there was a free day at the Denver Zoo and Jeff was able to take some time off so we took the girls to the Zoo. Of course Samantha didn't really care too much but Maddie and her Daddy loved it. Maddie can now tell you what a tiger says, what a bird says and what a cow says.

ELMO!!!

Madison is obsessed with ELMO. We bought her some Elmo panties a few weeks ago to help her to prepare for potty training and ever since then she walks around the house snuggling her "elmo's". She likes to wear them over her diaper, pajamas or clothes and she points them out to anyone who will look at them. "elmo" is probably our least favorite word now.

Ginger!

"Aunt" Ginger came to visit a couple of weeks ago. Dad had to go out of town for a youth conference so it was just us girls. We sure did have fun!

BIG NEWS

We are finally out with it! We are expecting! My due date is April 30th. We tried to keep it a secret for a while but it never seems to work with us so after a week or two we tell everyone. Jeff is rooting for a boy this time but if its a girl it wont be that big of a deal because his girls have him wrapped around their little fingers. We will have three kids 2 and a 1/2 and under. We will be busy for sure!

Professional Pictures

My cute pictures didnt turn out like I wanted and I found a coupon for a free 8x10 so I took the girls to get their pictures done professionally. They turned out pretty cute.

My Cuties!

The girls got new outfits a while back that are matching (I dont usually do matching outfits but these really are pretty cute) and I thought it would be cute to take their pictures but they didnt turn out as I wanted them to. Oh well.

Jeffs Run in Ouray

Mom and Dad came up from Arizona to be there with us. Dwayne and Lindsay were there along with Jean Daniel and Amber, my parents and young siblings, our friend Jake and Chantrie and Jed and Holly.
Jed ran in the race with Jeff and did awesome! Here are the two guys.
This is only about 1/6 of the trail that Jeff ran

Madison with her nana and papop
There he is coming into the home stretch!

We had a blast while in Ouray. Jeff did pretty good, he is obviously in a lot better shape than he was last year because even after falling down and getting pretty banged up and having to stop for a few minutes to take a nail out of his shoe he still beat last years time by a few minutes. Hopefully next year he wont have any mishaps and he'll be able to really beat it. Camping for five days was just what I needed to relax. Samantha the poor girl got stung by a bee at five oclock in the morning one of the days and we had to pump some Benedryl into the poor girl. We went four wheeling and we even went to the hot springs to play. It was a great trip and we were really proud of Jeff.

What is this tagging crap all about? Ive been tagged by a few people and have no idea if I'm up for it. I have a hard enough time just keeping up on my blog let alone knowing anyone to tag when Im done. Life has been pretty crazy lately with Jeff being out of town for almost half of last month and summer just always seems to come onto you pretty quickly. I have been starting up a couple of things to help bring in some extra income by working at home. I started a new $$ saving blog for people located in the west (Utah,Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, California,Oregon and all the others) Please check it out and let others know about it too! It's mamamoola . Does anyone have any ideas on how to make decent money from home? (not including babysitting)
There is not really a reason for putting these pictures up only that I think the pics of the girls are really dang cute. Maddison loves slides and whenever we pass a park that is all she can say. "Slide" about twenty times. My girls are growing so fast. Maddie picks up new words every day and she keeps us laughing.
There he is, my handsome hubby.
Isn't this picture of Samantha just so sweet? A good friend of mine took it and made a few changes and now its really cute. I think I'll have her do some of our family fotos.

Tiny Town

We went to Tiny Town last week with some friends and we all had a blast.
There I am with Samantha(the baby) and Shannon Barlow
(left to right & front to back) Maddie, Chantrie, Cadence, Shannon and Me
Maddie loved to look into every window and see who was inside.
Maddie in the playground after walking through the town
Becca and Chantrie are some of our good friends that were with us.

Soccer

Jeff plays soccer every Monday night with a mens league and we love to go watch. Maddie loves to run around on the field with her daddy before, after and during the game.

Some of the other guys kids come and Maddie loved to play with this one. She followed him around wherever he went and kept trying to hug and kiss him. (Daddy is in for it!)

So, I can't figure out how to rotate the first picture so turn your head sideways;) Madison has become such a shoe fanatic. She loves to put other peoples shoes on all the time. The funniest is when she actually tries to walk in them.

Maddie has two little friends (Shannon and Cadence) who are all within a few months of age from her. We went to the mall with them the other day and Maddie and the girls were playing on one of the interactive game things and they had a blast. Maddie started dancing to the music and it was a perfect little foto opp.

Popop Roberts came to visit this last week and we had a great time with him here. One of the days he was here we went to the 24th of July celebration and Madison got to ride a pony. Syriana and Lyra also got to.
Syriana and Lyra
Madison didn't want any help and she didn't want to get off either.
Well, we got back a week or so ago from our annual family reunion in Island Park, Idaho. We sure had fun just like we do every year. We did a few new things and a lot of the same old stuff.

Here is something new for us. Jeff rode a bull for the first time and did pretty good if I do say so myself. He says it's addicting and wanted to go back to the rodeo again the next day to do it again but we couldn't. I think I will now have to worry about this new thing of his.

Look real close and you'll be able to see a cute little Maddie stuck in between us trying to make sure she got in the picture too!

We went to West Yellowstone and we got to see some bears and wolves. Maddie just thought they were dogs.
So cute, what can I say more?
Maddie and Dad took a few rides out on great Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's 4wheelers and doesn't she sure look like she was enjoying it.

watermelon

Anyone who knows Maddie knows she loves to eat and watermelon is for sure one of her summertime favorites!

Sammy

Samantha has been such a great little baby. She is so happy all the time. I don't think we even have a picture of her when she isn't smiling.

So, I have been telling everyone that I would email them pictures from the trip that we took in March to Italy and I never have gotten around to it so I'll just post it here and everyone will get to see how awesome it really is (was). There are pictures of us at the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Sistine Chapel, Trevi Fountain and just some random pictures of Rome. We had an amazing time and saw some really cool stuff. People in Rome loved the girls, probably because there just aren't too many around. Every where we went people stopped us to talk to the girls. These are just a few of the pictures we took but suffice it to say we loved it and it was beautiful!
